Potatoes & Anchovies (Ikan Bilis) Spicy Fried

First Bonda/Fried Savoury Snack. Then Potatoes With Dried Chillies. And now a different type. Pretty much another stir fried style. Fried anchovies for a nice crunch and curry leaves for aroma.

3 medium size potatoes - boil and slice with the skin on
2 tbsp  anchovies - soaked in water for 10 mins and drained
1 red chilli - remove seeds and sliced (for spicy version, leave the seeds)
1 green chilli - remove seeds and sliced
5 shallots - sliced thinly
3 sprigs curry leaves
3 tbsp oil
Salt for taste

When oil is heated, fry anchovies until crispy.
Remove and keep aside. 
In the same oil, sautĂ© chillies and shallots. 
Add potatoes, fried anchovies and curry leaves.
Season with salt. 
Stir and cook over high heat. Very quickly.
Dish out.

    I wonder whether you have been to "Ravi's Banana Leaf", located at Dataran 3 Two (32 Square) 19/1 Petaling Jaya.

    We went there the other night. The Curry was really fiery hot. I think maybe you might like it.
