french beans with just some crushed garlic is what I do especially during time crisis. Surely fast and can been prepared in just a few minutes time. I got a bit adventurous next and came up with my recipe of frying french beans with tempe, the spicy version (see below the heading of related articles). This time, it was frying french beans with tofu and squids in it. Well, was surely a good change for us at home to go with our rice for lunch.
200g french beans - remove strings and slice diagonally as thin as possible
80g squids/sotong - cleaned and cut into rings
1 piece (90g) hard white tofu - sliced in thick cubes
4 cloves garlic - chopped
1 stalk spring onions - cut into 1 inch length
3 tbsp olive oil
salt to taste
When oil is heated, fry the tofu cubes until light golden brown in color and remove.
In the same oil, fry the chopped garlic and squids for about 3-4 mins.
Add in the french beans and stir in.
Pour in 2 tbsp water and cook until the water evaporates.
Next goes in the salt, fried tofu pieces and spring onions.
Stir and mix all in together before removing from heat.
