Restaurant Sri Melur Maju (Kota Kemuning, Shah Alam)

A casual dinner can be anywhere - at hawker stalls, road side stalls or nearby restaurants. For us, its a matter of what we want to eat. Last Sunday, a light-simple Indian food here at Sri Melur Maju, one of the nearest neighbourhood eatery. We arrived, the restaurant was practically empty but surprisingly service was pretty slow. We sat and hoped that the staff will eventually serve us. .

Finally one of them came. We ordered - paper tosai (2 sets), tofu sambal, ikan bilis (anchovies) sambal, cow's milk tea and teh kosong. Food and drinks arrived simultaneously and what else except hungrily tuck in. The crispy crunchy paper tosai was lovely, one of my fav and when eaten with the two types of curries and the spicy ikan bilis sambal,  just so good.

The fiery tauhu sambal however wasn't the best because too sweet.  Cow's milk tea and teh kosang were biasa/normal similar to those at other Indian restaurants.

Basically, it was a budgeted meal (RM12.00) to fill up our tummy. Surely quite satisfying.

Seri Melur is at:
Jalan Anggerik Vanilla 31/95
Kota Kemuning
Shah Alam.
