My friends loved the choc fudge coated with coconut though some commented that I should have reduced the amount of sugar. Perhaps that will give you an indication on whether you want to cut the quantity of it.
1 1/4 cup margarine/butter (melted)
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs (lightly whisked)
1 1/2 cup cake flour
1 tsp vanilla essence
1 1/2 Hershey's semi-sweet chocolate chips (or any other brand)
3 tbsp desiccated coconut.
When margarine is still warm, add brown sugar and mix to melt.
Fold in flour (make sure there's no lumps).
Add whisked eggs, little by little and continue to fold.
Remove from heat, beat with a wooden spatula continuously, for about 3 minutes.
Sprinkle coconut on top and gently press in.
