Pictures may be deceiving but the cookies are not - they are crispy, they are nice, they are tasty and they crack and crumble as each piece goes into the mouth. The only way to find out is to make it. I also admit that its not my original recipe. I searched for two days and found two recipes though not exactly what I wanted. And so, I modified and tweeted and here is my version.
8 tbsp brown sugar
1/4 cup all purpose flour
1/2 tsp vanilla
100g sliced almonds
2 tbsp melted margarine
In a bowl, whisk the eggs for 3-4 mins.
Add in flour, brown sugar, melted butter and vanilla.
Fold in the sliced almonds.
Break into pieces and store in a air-tight container.
