Tang House of Fishballs - Seapark, Petaling Jaya

Seapark in PJ is often referred to as a foodie haven but with the lack of parking, I almost never go there. A bunch of us were working over the weekend and we decided to go to Tang House of Fishballs after a recommendation by one of them. The attraction of this place is that their fishballs are made from Yellow Tail and are free of boric and preservatives. According to them, the fish-related products are made in their own factory.

After a glimpse at the menu, I went for the Soup Noodles (RM5). You can choose to have kuay teow, yellow mee, mihun or glass noodles. Another interesting thing to order are their desserts. Since I wanted something cold, I went for Fu Chuk with Gingko (RM3).
Less than 10 minutes the food arrived. As you can see, my bowl of hot goodness (soup glass noodles) came with three fishballs and three slices of fish paste, some vegetables and a whole lot of glass noodles.
I found the fishballs were very springy and tasted fresh while the fish paste was flavourful. Without much goading I quickly finished it.

My foodie companions had Curry Mee - kuay teow (RM5.50) and Hand Made Fish Noodle (RM7). Since I didn't hear much from them until after they were done, the food must be good. I noticed the curry was the thick variety and was quickly absorbed into the noodles which my companion said it made the dish stood out from other curry noodles.
As for the Fish Noodles Soup, a companion said it tasted fresh and different from those that you would buy from the wet market. To have a sweet ending to my meal, my dessert came hot accompanied with a bowl of ice. It seemed that they don't cool the boiled desserts and adding ice was the only option.
Strange though. I found the Fu Chuk with Gingko was very smooth and creamy but I was disappointed to find bitter gingkoes in it. My guess is that they weren't careful in removing the pit of the fruit.
