Sadly, the food is bad. I ordered the Spaghetti Spicy Seafood Marinara, RM13, while my friends ordered, Chicken ala King, RM11 and Spaghetti Bolognaise. According to my friends the chicken chop was okay and the Spaghetti Bolognaise was salty. As for my Seafood Marinara, it was very sour.
When the waiter asked how was the meal, I gave my feedback that the marinara was very sour, he replied maybe you can’t take sour things. Hey! I have eaten in many Italian and western restaurants that I would know if any spaghetti sauce was not up to par.
The waiter kept giving excuses, though he did it all politely. My point is, if you are going to ask for my opinion and get all defensive and even push the blame to me not appreciating sourness before even tasting the dish, then just don’t bother asking in the first place! A few minutes later the waiter returned and said that the chef agreed that the marinara was sour and apologised for it. They gave a complimentary pandan crème brûlée, which I would advise to avoid at all cost. There was no caramelised sugar on top and all of us cringed after taking in a spoonful.
The prices do not include service charge, but at the same time there’s a sign that says, you can tip if you want to. Here, they do not serve tap water or boiled water, etc. If you want to drink plain water, you will need to order the bottle of mineral water, RM2.50.
This is one restaurant that I will not step into again, because the food quality is way below average.
