Chicken Burger, RM12.90, and a pot of green tea, RM8.90. The burger, especially the pork burger was oozing with sauce and the patty was really juicy. Together with fried egg, lettuce and sliced tomatoes, it is indeed a satisfying meal.
The pork burger is rather tall, so you need a little skill to cut it into smaller bites. It might get messy, but it’s all worth it (in taste and in price).
Char Siew Pizza is on the sweet side (slightly). So if you prefer your savoury food not to be sweet, then you might not enjoy it as much. Otherwise, it is another yummy dish that one should order. The chicken burger was tasty, though the chicken was slightly dry and hard.
Water is free, by the way, which is always nice. The restaurant includes both Government (5%) and service (10%) tax, so the bill came to RM65.10. Some dishes seem really affordable, so a meal there would come to approximately RM15 to RM25 per person.
Try not to sit too close to the doors, as the air-cond escapes the room and the nearby area is less cooler. Also, if you work nearby, check out their lunch promotion. At the moment, the restaurant offers free salmon sashimi with every lunch set, from 12pm to 3pm. Plus, there’s a 10% discount on total bill, excluding alcoholic drinks.
So if you are looking for a meal with a difference that is truly enjoyable, head on to Kissaten.
