Home made fish head noodle, Kota Damansara

The restaurant’s name is as straight-forward as it comes. Yes, the specialty is home made fish head noodle. The original, in curry… well they have quite a variety to choose from. You can even select deep-fried or not for the fish. Each bowl of fish head noodle costs from RM7 onwards. Not a fan of fish head noodle, I ordered the Fried Ramen Seafood, RM13.90, and there was generous portions of seafood. The dish was tasty. No complains there.
The Crispy Fillet Fish with Honey Sauce, RM5.90, tasted more like sweet and sour. But is it nice? Yes, it is a good side dish to order.
They have set menus as well. The Assam Seafood & Rice, RM8.80, comes with a choice of beverage. The dish was palatable enough, though it would do with more assam (but then again, that’s because I like assam!).
Plain water costs RM0.50, and the total bill came up to RM29.40. So on average, a meal here would amount to RM15 to RM20. Both exterior and interior of the restaurant is painted in green. So look out for a dark green signboard with Home made fish head noodle on it. It is located below a reflexology centre. The place has a bright and airy atmosphere, though if you are eating a soupy meal, sit below the fan! Even if you are not a fan of fish head noodle, don’t stay away from the restaurant. The food is generally worth a try.
