Naked Supermodels

Have you ever wondered what supermodels would look like sans clothes? Now, you don’t have to wonder anymore… UK's LOVE magazine third issue features eight ‘very bare’ supermodels! In case you didn’t know, this Conde Nast publication is a bi-annual fashion magazine—which launched in February 2009.

If you love edgy and artsy fashionable photography, then you must pick this mag up. Here’s a little something that you should know about this magazine— Love seems to love their covers dressed up with undressed models. Yes, it first started out with a nude Beth Ditto right on the cover of its “Icons of a Generation” issue. Next up was unknown bass player Alex Hartley shirtless with his pants hanging low. And this time around, we have Lara Stone, Jeneil Williams, Amber Valletta, Naomi Campbell, Kristen McMenemy, Daria Werbowry, Natalia Vodianova and Kate Moss photographed with strategically placed censor bars and there are even some shots of them baring it all!

Here’s what Love’s editor-in-chief Katie Grand told VOGUE.COM: “For this issue of LOVE, we took eight women who are generally acknowledged as the most beautiful in the world, got them to show off their bodies — widely regarded as the most perfect in the world — and photographed them all in exactly the same position for the cover. We did this to show how much they differed physically from one another, which is why we also printed their measurements.”

Different? Personally, I don’t see anything different in this editorial shoot. All these eight supermodels are pretty much lanky with the perfect body-measurements to fit their supermodel status. However, I think these shots are artistic, tasteful and sensual—all at the same time. My two favourite skate and Naomi look amazing for their age! Psst… did you also notice that Lara Stones breasts are apparently Fs?
