I am a candy addict and I love Gummi Bears! Nothing makes me happier than chomping on these chewy, cute candies. As a little kid, I remember anxiously waiting for my aunt to return from Germany— just because I knew I’d be able to happily feast on lots of Haribo gummi bears!
Have you ever imagined what you could do with gummi bears besides eating them? Many years ago, I came across a DIY Gummi Bear bracelet which I thought was so cute but I of course never got down to it. Imagine my sheer delight when I spotted these amazing creations by artist Ya Ya Chou (yayachou) These oh-so pretty sculptures are part of an entire series! Get ready for a sweet time of delicious-looking eye candy!
Gummi Bear Chandelier
Gummi Bear Candelbra
Gummi Bear Rug
The artist even says that, the art pieces "remains fresh even after two years after it's made!"… I certainly wouldn’t want to eat them—two years after! And I’m actually surprised that these sweet things can even last that long; wouldn’t they melt after a while—though I am pretty sure that they are all skillfully lacquered to perfection!
Constellation of Tartrazine
Gummi Bear Ram
Gummi Bear Dear
As much as I love them Gummi Bears, these wonderful sculptures are just too pretty to eat up. I wouldn’t mind keeping them as deco in my home though—I’m pretty sure I’d be admiring them all day long. How creative and talented Ya Ya Chou is!
